Hope is the thing with feathers is an original musical composition with text from Emily Dickinson's poem by the same name. This piece was written in honor of my grandparents for their impact on my life and their inspiring hope in the midst of losing their three children in their later lives. I plan to premiere the piece with my choir in the spring of 2022 and am working to find a company to publish the work.
